To start with it is important to make sure your loved one’s new home is filled with familiar and beloved objects such as personal photos, books, and knick-knacks.  As the new resident, you should try to keep a positive attitude toward the move and be a good sport about joining community activities and socializing with others.  After all making new friends can make all the difference in the world.  Furthermore remember the staff is there to help and will be more than glad to answer all of your questions.
